How to unroot your Samsung Galaxy S3?

How to Unroot Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300?

Rooting and Unrooting your device is a good thing by rooting your mobile you get different benefits such as your battery life increases,you can use superuser app to gain access to root.

Now some people want to Unroot their Samsung Galaxy S3 because they cant get updates r something else.
Note:
Since this process worked for many users but i cant guarantee that it will work for you too!! Following is the list of things that you will need in order to unroot your mobile.


1. You will need PC Odin which you can get from Here.

2. Stock firmware which you can get from Here by typing your mobile information.

3. Triangle Away which you can get from Here.


Step-By-Step guide to Unroot Your S3.

Step 1: Extract the firmware that you have downloaded from the sammobile.( Extracting it will take some time). Extract Odin as well.







Step 2: Turn off your phone and put it into the Download Mode by Holding Volume Down Button+Home Button+Power Button. Then press Volume up button to continue

Step 3: While you are in Download Mode you should see the custom binary counts which is at the top left corner of the screen. If the custom binary has some number for example 1 (yes), 2 (Yes) etc this shows that how many times you have modified your mobile. This means that your Warranty is voided.




Step 4: Before proceeding you have to reset your Custom Binary counts. If you don't know how to reset that binary so read my blog here. If your custom binary said NO or it doesn't have any counts so proceed from Step 5.

Ste 5: Now you are in download mode open Odin from your PC and connect your Mobile through USB cable.

Step 6: Click on PDA and and add the firmware that you have downloaded from sammobile.
It should contain .tar.md5 in the end. And click on Start.




Step 7: It will take up to 15-30 minutes to flash the firmware via PC Odin.
Your Odin should not response for a while but do not unplug the cable or do something else via Odin is flashing the firmware.

Step 8: Your mobile will Reboot. Now check that your mobile status has come to normal or it is still modified by going to ( Setting>About Device>Status>at the end the device status is written.

If it is still modified then move up to Step 9. If it is normal then you have successfully unrooted your mobile.

Step 9: Your device is Modified. Now to again take it to Normal, Boot into Recovery Mode by pressing (Volume up Button+Power Button+Home Button) when you see the Samsung Galaxy S3's logo release the buttons and you will enter the recovery mode after some time. 

Step 10: Now from there Go down, find and select Wipe data/Factory reset and click on yes which is at the middle.

Step 11: Now find and select Wipe data cache partition it will remove all cache. Now select Reboot System Now your mobile will boot again.

After rebooting when you are in. Check the status of the mobile again by going to Settings>About Device>Status (in the last). Now your mobile status is Normal.
